My Final Major Project was a chance to research and learn about Leonardo da Vinci. It started off as various experimental type ideas based on different aspects of his work.

'Codices' is the result of one experiment inspired by the sketches within Da Vinci's notebooks, known as Codex Forster 1, 2 and 3. It features a basic set of glyphs from the Latin alphabet and a quirky 'Sketch' style, which is a digital interpretation of the different stroke thicknesses and ink build-ups imitating the sketched look.
