Brief: Explore Hendon, take photos, jot down details of your surroundings, then create a design project.

 

I chose to theme my project around motion after discovering that in 1850, Hendon resident, Thomas Tilling, ran one of the first horse bus services into the centre of London. 

 

Concept: I took everyday visuals of moving around Hendon and manipulated them in an attempt to disorient and intrigue, to reflect how Tilling and anyone from the mid 19th century might feel if they could witness Hendon in motion today.
